Christmas

Christmas was so much fun this year with all the family and friends. We were especially excited for Isaac. Even though last year was his first Christmas, this year we got to enjoy his reaction to everything.

Christmas Eve we had dinner with the Radford's. It was so good just check out the spread!

Isaac found Grandma Page's Christmas tree with the stacks of presents. He enjoyed jumping on them and trying to tear the wrapping paper.

This was Isaac's reaction Christmas morning. He spotted his gifts from Santa. He got a little buggy that we can push him around in. He has sat in that thing everyday since he got it.

Smile!

He even had to open all the presents while sitting in it.

He loved his tool set from Hannah, even though he doesn't look excited!

Later that morning we headed back to the Radford's to open presents. Hailey got Isaac a set of backyardigan books and he got so upset if she set him down. He wanted to keep reading them with her. Thanks Hailey!

Dinner was with the Linthorsts Christmas Day. The kids got their first dog, his name is Milo. Such a cool dog!

Here is Ike a few days later, testing out the car to see how much he can do.
He's finally got the "cheese" down!
Happy New Year!

Isaac's two favorite things

Our little Ike has figured out everything to getting his way. Coleman brought him home some lemonade one day and anything in a big kid cup with a straw he loves. Especially if its Coleman's soda. The next favorite thing is his fake cry. He has done it for as long as I can remember but has now perfected it. If you let him go at it for a few minutes he will eventually make himself tear up . I finally caught the face on film. He thinks this little face will get him whatever he wants...little stinker!

Here he is happy with his drink!

Daddy took it away..here is the fake cry face.

Polar Express

We are so excited for the Christmas season to be here. The house is all decorated, most shopping is done, and family gatherings are starting to come together. Last week we had the opportunity to go down to Lindon to this house that puts on the Polar Express every year. It was so much fun. Those of you who don't know Isaac's latest obsession, other than the backyardigans, its the Polar Express. His favorite part is when the little boy and girl sing on the back of the train. Well this place was great. It has a mini train that took you through the neighborhoods and then to see Santa. I'm not sure Isaac really understood any of it other than the music he would "oooh" to and the movie they played while you waited. Here are the pictures from our fun little adventure.

Isaac and dad waiting for our turn, he just woke up!

See how mini the train was!

Thanksgiving and BLACK FRIDAY

Thanksgiving was so much fun this year. My mom flew in Monday night and stayed with us through the week. Isaac got a lot of Grandma Mary attention and loved every minute of it. Thanksgiving day we spent with the Radfords. It was Page's first official holiday here in Utah so we went big! Dinner was so good and we ate so much. Later that night we prep for the biggest shopping day in the country, Black Friday! I have never done the whole early bird shopping before so I decided this year I would tag along with Coleman's sisters. First we hit the Park City outlet malls at midnight. They had awesome deals, every store was 50% or more off everything. We got home for 15 mins and were off to the 4am opening Kohl's, Walmart at 5am, then target at 6am. People are crazy psycho. Seriously we sent poor Hailey into the Walmart crowd and she came out shocked and scared. People don't care, they throw elbows and punches to get what they want. You may walk out with what you want but not without a good fight and some scratch marks left on your package. It was worth every minute to see those crowds. I did find some good deals but not sure if I will go next year, maybe 2 years from now. I couldn't have done it without my tasty friend red bull! It took me a few days to recover from my loss of sleep but it was awesome!

Weekend in Oregon

Last weekend Ike and I flew to Portland for Mandy and Mike's wedding. It was amazing weather the entire time. Cathy and Jim Gibbs had us stay with them till Saturday and then spent Saturday night at my moms. The wedding was beautiful and it was great to see old friends. I wasn't very good about having my camera with me but I did get a few pictures of our weekend. We had so much fun but were very excited to get back home to Coleman. We can't wait to go back and visit again soon.

St. George

Coleman, Ike, and myself got the chance to go to St. George with Austin, Richard and Ethan. Richard and I ran the Snow Canyon half marathon. It was gorgeous and so much better than I thought it would be. We had so much fun and the little boys were so well behaved. They had their moments but over all were great. We got in Friday night, ran Saturday morning and had the rest of Saturday and Sunday to enjoy St. George. We were able to stop and see the St. George temple and view the Brigham Young home. It was gorgeous! We couldn't figure out why the temple didn't have an angel Moroni but I guess there are 8 others that also do not have an angel Moroni. Some are just built without. Anyways..enjoy the pics!

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year. We got to take our little Ike out trick or treating. He was our future pro golfer..old school style! We started off the week at Gardener Village with the Radford girls, and Nuttal family. All the little ones dressed up, Hannah was a princess and Ethan was a little Edward Vampire. They all looked so cute! Halloween we started off trick or treating with the Linthorst kids. Then we headed out to Wes and Page's house for dinner and games. We had so much fun! We can't wait for next year!

Twilight Movie

Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday we all went out to a pumpkin patch by Wes and Page's house. It was so much fun to take Ike for his first pumpkin hunt. We went with Amelia, Page, and Wes and came out with some great pumpkins. Unfortunately this weekend they were stolen from our front porch. So sad! We are still going to have a great Halloween and can't wait for this Friday to get here! Hope everyone has a fun Halloween! Can't wait to see all the costumes!
