December

We had so much fun in December. We had a white elephant party with a few friends, dinner Christmas eve with the Radford's, and were lucky to have my mom here for the week of Christmas. The kids loved every minute of her attention. Santa came and spoiled all of us. Santa brought Isaac dinosaurs and binoculars, Brooke got lots of new clothes, and mom and dad got new pots and pans. Both Grandparents spoiled these little ones with toys. It was such a fun year because Isaac was so into Santa. We also introduced our new tradition of the,"elf on the shelf".  Isaac named him Jordan and watched over everything Isaac did until Santa arrived. He couldn't wait to sit on his lap every time he saw Santa. First he saw him at the mall and before I know it he was darting in through the exit yelling," Santa, Santa, hey!" He was sad he didn't get to talk to him but later that week we went the the festival of trees and he couldn't believe he was sitting on his lap. This years request was mickey mouse phones, Isaac would say, "lots and lots of mickey mouse phones." Same thing was brought up when Santa surprised us at the ward party. We loved it!

Growing Babies

I never thought I would be one of those moms that get emotional over every occasion other than the big life changes. Well today I found myself guilty of doing so. Today Isaac went into the Sunbeams class. It was never an issue dropping him off to nursery but today was different. I walked him into the primary, he was the first one in his class so I became a little nervous he would have a panic attack and I wouldn't be leaving the primary room. But his teacher introduced herself, he looked around at all the bigger kids he got to be with and said, "see ya mom." I couldn't help but stand their for a few minutes in the door watching to see if I would have to dart in to save him from crying. Coleman told me to get a move on it and go to class. That was when I realized my baby boy isn't a little boy anymore, he is a little man. After class he ran to me in the hall saying, "I miss you mom, oh I love you mom," over and over again but excited for next Sunday's class.

Brooklyn is doing the same thing to me too, growing too fast. She will be 6 months at the end of this month and growing like a weed. She is definitely more demanding than Isaac ever was but the girl always has a smile on her face. She is the biggest ham you would ever meet. We can't get enough of her. I just wish time would slow down. Well I can't say enough how much I adore my kids and love them so much. I am grateful for all the joy they bring to our lives.

Enough of the gushy stuff, here are some pics of my little kiddos.
