Our trip to Oregon

We were able to travel to Oregon for a good week and half for my sisters wedding. We headed out early for Coleman to do some work on a friends house. The first few nights we stayed with the Strasburgs and got to spend some good quality time with the family(Thanks Allyson). We stayed with my dad the rest of the time. Angelie and Richard arrived Friday and the work began. A bridal shower with Carolyn Dejong on Saturday, Church with mom on Sunday, dinner with my dads family Sunday night. We finally got to meet Richards parents. Such a sweet family. Monday was a run around day and visit people in town. Monday night was Angelie's bachelorette party at the Gibbs home. Tuesday morning I hosted a breakfast bridal shower at the Cadillac Cafe downtown. Seriously the best French Toast ever accompanied with a big mug of hot cocoa. Tuesday night family pictures following the wedding dinner held at the Sivertson's home. (Thanks for all your help Sivertson Family). Wednesday was wedding day. It was pouring down rain, which a week earlier had said it was going to be 70 degrees. I don't know why I had trusted the news to be true. But by the time the sealing was done there were breaks of sunshine. It was so pretty there. On with the day....luncheon at the church to finish setting up. I had to make a DVD of their pictures from childhood and their wedding in Holland (It's a long story, Angelie will you post that?). Reception at 6:30pm and clean up till 10pm. Overall it was a beautiful wedding and we were so glad that we could be able to go back home and stay long enough to enjoy it. Thursday all the Linthorst's headed to Seaside. I rented a house right there in Seaside right on the promenade. It was beautiful and we got so lucky with the weather on Friday. We went a fed the seals at the Aquarium, went shopping, strolled main street, and just relaxed. Saturday was rainy so we headed to Tillamook Cheese Factory. Sunday we headed out and flew home that evening. Wow it was a busy week but are glad to be home and settled in. We are looking forward to summer and the warm weather. Happy Mothers Day momma's! We love you all so very much and hope you have a wonderful day.

Have a great week.

Easter

It's been a good month since I have posted and with the events coming up in the next two weeks(my sisters wedding and Oregon coast) I have a lot to catch up. Well we have officially moved out of our home in Holladay and are temporarily living in the Radford's basement. We are planning on buying here in the next little while. It's crazy but you never really realize how much stuff can accumulate over the years. We rented a storage and all our personal belongings are packed away. Even though it may sound overwhelming but its has been wonderful living here.
We have been keeping Ike busy with activities since we moved in. We took him to Classic Skate and let him play in the jungle gym and on all the bouncy toys. He was quite tired by the end of the day. I just signed him up for tumbling classes at the Little Gym and he has loved every minute of it.

Easter weekend was so much fun. Isaac had his first Easter Egg Hunt at our friends place. He loved finding the eggs and placing them in his sack. Sunday the whole gang over for dinner. All of Coleman's sisters, grandma and Les, and Jay, Heather, and cute baby Gwen. We had an Easter Egg hunt with all the little cousins. Hannah was cracking me up the whole time. She couldn't seem to find enough eggs. We finished the night off with the WII Fit hula hooping. We die laughing every time we play.

This next couple weeks are busy for us but can't wait. We are headed to Oregon on Thursday for my little sisters wedding. We will update as soon as we can. We can't wait all of you back home!

A few weeks ago we were hanging out with the Ricker's and I had forgotten extra diapers. Gwen was nice enough to let us use one of hers. (size newborn, Isaac normally wears a 4)

Gwen, Ike, and myself. This picture describes Isaac perfectly right now.

I loved this picture. Ike has the funniest face!

Time to catch up!

It's been awhile since our last post so I figured I would update everyone on the last month or so. At the beginning of February we were able to go to Idaho Falls to a Radford mission farewell. Coleman's cousin Aaron's farewell. We drove up Saturday night and stayed in a hotel so the traveling wouldn't be too hard on Ike. It was great to meet that side of the family. I had never met any of his Uncle Stevens family before. Wes, Page, Hailey, and Amelia came up too. Their cousins Tyler and Lindsey rode up with them. We drove back Sunday night successfully without any major breakdowns from Ike. The following weekend was Austin's bday party out at their place. We ate lots of good food and played rock band together. The following week our friends Jay and Heather had their first baby girl Gwen. The most calm, collected little girl ever! Just like her parents. She is gorgeous guys!
Hannah's birthday came right after that. I can't believe she is already 3 and soon to be a big sister. Only a week left till Ade gets to see her little boy. We can't wait! To finish it off we had a baby shower this past Saturday for Ade. It was so much fun! Austin, Hailey and I were in charge of the games while Page and Grandma whipped up some yummy dinner. It great to see all the women together and just hang out and chat.
Well that's about it. I haven't really been good about sitting down to blog but now that spring and summer are near I hope to be busy outside. We head to Oregon next month for my sister Angelie's wedding and also prepare to move. We will keep everyone posted.

Waiting in the lobby in Idaho Falls, Ike thought he was so cool!

I loved this picture of Ethan, he loves to point his finger at everything.

We found Ike in the kitchen one evening pulling everything out of the drawers and decided to climb in.

Hannah got a high school musical dress up and they dressed Ethan in the wig. He looks so good!

Places I like to sit and play

Isaac has an obsession with laundry baskets, play bins, boxes, anything he can get his little toosh in.

But today I couldn't stop laughing. He had found the base to my bunt cake pan and had somehow wedged himself and a couple toys and a spoon into this tiny thing. Of course he needed my help to get him out.

Here are few other fun pictures, I noticed its been Christmas since my last update. Here is our little Ike growing up to be a such a big boy.

He loves his yogurt and loves to feed himself with a spoon or fork.

Coleman and Ike were steeler fans for the super bowl. Coleman is crafty with a couple of shirts and a sharpie.

He wants to be one of the big boys so bad.
My little Ike and his two addictions, his binky and blanky.
Have A Good Week!
