Easter was a little sad this year. Both my kids were sick and all family was out of town. So we spent a quiet day at home and had a small Easter egg hunt in the living room. A couple weeks before we planted Easter grass in our baskets and then set them out for the Easter bunny to bring the goodies. They turned out so cute!! Brooke and Isaac both had colds so we missed church too. Due to being out of town the next weekend, they didn't get to show off their Easter outfits till a few weeks later. They did look super cute and I am glad they both had smiles on their faces instead of sick faces.

And finally...
OK so to continue..In March Trevor was ordained an elder and my mom was able to come and visit. It just so happened the Westovers were in town at the same time. We had a great big dinner over at the Linthorst house and played games. It was a ton of fun. Trevor's girlfriend Ali and her parents were able to come down for his ordination also. We had lots of fun with Grandma Mary in town and my kids got spoiled rotten with the granny suitcase she brings filled with goodies. Isaac got to read a new book with Grandma Mary every night. It was definitely his favorite part of having Grandma Mary stay at our house! Just a few weeks later Brooke started crawling and now we can't keep her out of anything. She always wants to be following someone and now she is trying to pull her self up on everything. We love it and hate it! Brooke also loves her big brother Isaac. She has to be around him any chance she gets. We love it!
At the beginning of April we celebrated Ali's birthday with pizza and cake at our house. The exciting news was that day before Trev proposed in Moab to her. We are so excited to have her in our family. They plan on getting married here in Salt Lake, August 6th!! Another big Linthorst party, yay!
And of course the best part of this blog are the last few pictures! Isaac is way into stealing my camera. I never knew why because how would this kid know how to take a real picture, right? Well this week I discovered what he has been up too! CHECK IT OUT!!

February and March were busy months for us! Valentines Day came quickly and we were able to have a wonderful family and friends dinner over at the Linthorst house. As a family gift for Valentines Day we got Isaac a Wii. I am not sure now if that was such a great idea. He loves the game Just Dance 2. It is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. He specializes in the Charleston..everywhere we go!! Our little niece Hannah had her birthday party and Isaac enjoyed every minute of it at Classic Skate. Adrianne made an amazing cake for her part. She chose an army themed party. Those of you who don't know, at the time, her dad Steve was going through basic training. He graduated just a few weeks ago. We also had a cousin wedding on the Radford side and the kids were loving themselves some treats!! And of course we got lucky to see the Ricker's in March. They came to town for a few days so we got pupusas in and of course The Pie pizza!! It was so much fun to see all our kids together.
More to come!!

Long Past Due!!
I know I've been totally lacking on the blogging. I didn't realize it had been since January and here it is April. So I am slowly but surely going to catch everyone up about the past few months. Life has been busy but fun. Still waiting on our spring weather, or at least NO MORE SNOW!! Brooke was 6 months at the end of January and started eating solids. She took the veggies very well but it took her a few weeks to eat the fruits without getting squeamish. Isaac got to enjoy some fun activities with his cousins either at Discovery Museum or the Dinosaur museum. There were a few days that we were able to get out and enjoy the sun. Isaac loves his scooter and because Brooke was in her stroller with sunglasses on, Isaac had to make sure he had his on too!
First bite of baby food!
Brooke on her 6 month mark, just home from church!
Fun at the dinsaur museum.
Brooke loves bath time. She loves to be cuddled in her towel!

December
We had so much fun in December. We had a white elephant party with a few friends, dinner Christmas eve with the Radford's, and were lucky to have my mom here for the week of Christmas. The kids loved every minute of her attention. Santa came and spoiled all of us. Santa brought Isaac dinosaurs and binoculars, Brooke got lots of new clothes, and mom and dad got new pots and pans. Both Grandparents spoiled these little ones with toys. It was such a fun year because Isaac was so into Santa. We also introduced our new tradition of the,"elf on the shelf". Isaac named him Jordan and watched over everything Isaac did until Santa arrived. He couldn't wait to sit on his lap every time he saw Santa. First he saw him at the mall and before I know it he was darting in through the exit yelling," Santa, Santa, hey!" He was sad he didn't get to talk to him but later that week we went the the festival of trees and he couldn't believe he was sitting on his lap. This years request was mickey mouse phones, Isaac would say, "lots and lots of mickey mouse phones." Same thing was brought up when Santa surprised us at the ward party. We loved it!
Christmas Morning, Santa brought a doctor kit!
Grandma Mary and Ike opening more presents.
OK I know this picture is probably inappropriate but he got these boxer briefs from Santa and can't wait to put them on everyday...dang it Santa, you should have bought more!!

Growing Babies
I never thought I would be one of those moms that get emotional over every occasion other than the big life changes. Well today I found myself guilty of doing so. Today Isaac went into the Sunbeams class. It was never an issue dropping him off to nursery but today was different. I walked him into the primary, he was the first one in his class so I became a little nervous he would have a panic attack and I wouldn't be leaving the primary room. But his teacher introduced herself, he looked around at all the bigger kids he got to be with and said, "see ya mom." I couldn't help but stand their for a few minutes in the door watching to see if I would have to dart in to save him from crying. Coleman told me to get a move on it and go to class. That was when I realized my baby boy isn't a little boy anymore, he is a little man. After class he ran to me in the hall saying, "I miss you mom, oh I love you mom," over and over again but excited for next Sunday's class.
Brooklyn is doing the same thing to me too, growing too fast. She will be 6 months at the end of this month and growing like a weed. She is definitely more demanding than Isaac ever was but the girl always has a smile on her face. She is the biggest ham you would ever meet. We can't get enough of her. I just wish time would slow down. Well I can't say enough how much I adore my kids and love them so much. I am grateful for all the joy they bring to our lives.
Enough of the gushy stuff, here are some pics of my little kiddos.

My baby girl is 4 months old. I can't believe how time has gone by. She is such a cheese ball, loves to smile and chat with everyone. She is a pretty good sleeper and eater. And she demands her mommies attention all day long. We couldn't imagine life without this little tiny!
