Swimming with the Radfords

Wes, Page, and Amelia were able to come and visit last week. We loved having them here. Amelia was my little helper for a few days and I loved it! We were able to all go swimming at their hotel so I went and bought Ike a little suit. It was pretty cute.. thanks to my fav store Target. He didn't seem to mind the water at all. He really didn't have any reaction until after he was out of the water. He talked and screamed for about 2 hours, listening to his echo. I love that he is talking and laughing now. We celebrated Austin's 22nd bday at Red Robin on Friday and the whole gang was there. We hope they come back soon.

First time in...its cold but he doesn't seem to care.

Easter Has Arrived

The reason why I love this time of year!
Cadbury's Mini Eggs are the best. I love them! It doesn't help to have them around when I am trying to get rid of my pregnancy weight. I recommend them to everyone who loves Milk Chocolate. But I do not recommend eating a whole bag by yourself as I did this several years ago. Happy Easter to everyone!

My bff Beth, tagged me...Here's how you play:

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.

B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.

C. At the end of the post, the player tags 4 people and posts their names, then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they are tagged.

Family pictures!

This past weekend we finally got Isaac's baby pictures done. He is already 3 1/2 months old so I am glad I finally did it. They turned out pretty cute. We were glad he was in a good mood while we went. A nap while strolling the mall then a bottle and he was good to go. We were able to squeeze in some family pics too.

I finally got time to post pictures of Isaac's room (Sorry it took me awhile Erin). It still is missing a few things....like a mattress for the crib. I plan on getting that this week or next week and starting him in his own room. I don't think he likes his porter crib much anymore and he likes our bed way too much. The little squirt is growing so fast. I already have a box full of clothes he has outgrown. We love every minute of it especially this last week. He has started laughing at everything...especially his daddy.
This past weekend Coleman's best bud Guy was in town from Dallas. We met up Saturday with Jay, Heather, Guy, and Taylor (friend from Edgewood) at the Canyons for some snowboarding. It was nice to get out but I was so tired by mid day. Mandy Gibbs was in town and asked to watch Isaac while we went out. Thanks a ton! That night a bunch of us went out to dinner to Red Robin and then back to our house for some ping pong. It was fun to have everyone over and to see Guy while he was here.
We were sad to here the news that our Prophet Gordan B. Hinckley passed away on Sunday, January 27Th. He was our childhood prophet and are sad to see him go but glad to see he is back with his lovely wife. He was an inspiration to all of us.

Isaac's dresser and cute lamp.

Here is the new purchase...the crib is finally here.

Page made the cute "Isaac" and Grandma Mary made the bedding.

Here is a close up of the fabric we chose while I was in Portland over the summer. She also made a duvet that matches. I love it all!

For Christmas she painted this rocking chair to go along with the colors in the room. It is so adorable.

This was pretty funny, Isaac napping in our bed...this is how we found him.

Christmas Season

Well even though I love the holidays, I am glad they are over. We are ready for a fun new year.
Christmas was a lot of fun. We had our white elephant party Sunday the 23rd and had everyone over for Hawaiian Haystacks. There were some crazy prizes. The best two prizes were the Angelie Calendar with the yard o' beef and the used swimming undies from Richard. Frank and Dave beat each other up with the yard o' beef. It finally busted over Frank's head. My mom and Trevor came for a few days and stayed at our house. We were constantly busy with family events. Angelie's birthday was the 24th so we had breakfast at her apartment that morning and finished it off with the family ritual of Olive Garden for dinner. Christmas day we woke up to fresh snow, even though we had two storms prior to that. Coleman, Isaac, and I were spoiled with gifts from parents. I was quite surprised how much Isaac got. He loves all is toys, especially his Baby Einstein. Then my dad was able to come and visit and see the new babies. Dave and Erin blessed Royal on Sunday. It was good to have the family together.
Angelie's friend (or boyfriend) came to town from Holland. He is a very nice guy. we all like him a ton. We will wait to see what is to come of those two. Maybe a wedding this year sometime :) We will keep you all posted.
Isaac has his two month appointment tomorrow and I am excited to see how much he has grown. He is smiling and laughing more and more each day. It's crazy how fast little babies grow. Every week its something new.
Well we hope everyone has a happy new year!
