December

We had so much fun in December. We had a white elephant party with a few friends, dinner Christmas eve with the Radford's, and were lucky to have my mom here for the week of Christmas. The kids loved every minute of her attention. Santa came and spoiled all of us. Santa brought Isaac dinosaurs and binoculars, Brooke got lots of new clothes, and mom and dad got new pots and pans. Both Grandparents spoiled these little ones with toys. It was such a fun year because Isaac was so into Santa. We also introduced our new tradition of the,"elf on the shelf".  Isaac named him Jordan and watched over everything Isaac did until Santa arrived. He couldn't wait to sit on his lap every time he saw Santa. First he saw him at the mall and before I know it he was darting in through the exit yelling," Santa, Santa, hey!" He was sad he didn't get to talk to him but later that week we went the the festival of trees and he couldn't believe he was sitting on his lap. This years request was mickey mouse phones, Isaac would say, "lots and lots of mickey mouse phones." Same thing was brought up when Santa surprised us at the ward party. We loved it!

Christmas Morning, Santa brought a doctor kit!

Growing Babies

I never thought I would be one of those moms that get emotional over every occasion other than the big life changes. Well today I found myself guilty of doing so. Today Isaac went into the Sunbeams class. It was never an issue dropping him off to nursery but today was different. I walked him into the primary, he was the first one in his class so I became a little nervous he would have a panic attack and I wouldn't be leaving the primary room. But his teacher introduced herself, he looked around at all the bigger kids he got to be with and said, "see ya mom." I couldn't help but stand their for a few minutes in the door watching to see if I would have to dart in to save him from crying. Coleman told me to get a move on it and go to class. That was when I realized my baby boy isn't a little boy anymore, he is a little man. After class he ran to me in the hall saying, "I miss you mom, oh I love you mom," over and over again but excited for next Sunday's class.

Brooklyn is doing the same thing to me too, growing too fast. She will be 6 months at the end of this month and growing like a weed. She is definitely more demanding than Isaac ever was but the girl always has a smile on her face. She is the biggest ham you would ever meet. We can't get enough of her. I just wish time would slow down. Well I can't say enough how much I adore my kids and love them so much. I am grateful for all the joy they bring to our lives.

Enough of the gushy stuff, here are some pics of my little kiddos.

4 months

My baby girl is 4 months old. I can't believe how time has gone by. She is such a cheese ball, loves to smile and chat with everyone. She is a pretty good sleeper and eater. And she demands her mommies attention all day long. We couldn't imagine life without this little tiny!

We had so much fun this year for Halloween. Even though it landed on a Sunday it turned out to be a 2 day holiday.  Saturday we went over to the Linthorst's house to trick or treat. The rain was heavy but we fought through it and within an 45 mins it cleared. The kids had so much fun! Isaac couldn't get enough of knocking on the door and saying "trick o treat". Sunday we went over to Coleman's families house for dinner and indoor trick or treating bedroom to bedroom. It turned out great and the kids loved all their prizes. Brooke was a trooper in her ladybug costume. And Ike loved his fireman rain boots even though they were too big! I can't wait for next year when our little Brookie is walking!

The Radford cousins, Ethan (skeleton), Hannah (firefighter princes fairy), and Ike firefighter.

Just have to leave you with pics of my little babes!

I caught Isaac outside with his tool box pretending to work on his truck. I was loving every minute of it!

And Brooke being Brooke, this little girl always has a smile on her face!

My Birthday Boy!

My big boy turned 3 on Saturday and through him a Pirate Party. We had all cousins and friends over to join the fun. We had coloring, playtime, a scavenger hunt, presents, and cake. Isaac talked about his birthday at least a month in advance. He asked everyday if it was his birthday and of course I always had to let him down gently. He got everything a little boy could dream of on his birthday. I just can' get over how big my little man is!
Scooter from Aunt Hailey and Aunt Amelia! He has been driving it around the house everywhere he needs to go! Oh and can't forget his super tricks on it  too!

I thought this picture was priceless. He couldn't stop smiling when the cake came out and everyone was singing Happy Birthday so loud to him!

Cute Boys!

Most of the gang!

Oh and I was so excited about my decorations. I made these cute pirate flags to hang around the room! Isaac is actually still enjoying them because I can't reach them to get them down, lol!

Fall

This is absolutely my favorite time of year. Especially here in Utah. I love having a cool, sunny day and seeing all the leaves turn color. And of course my favorite holiday being Halloween. We went out to our favorite pumpkin patch and picked out all our pumpkins this past weekend. Isaac sat on every tractor and we went on a hay ride. We are looking forward to Halloween and can't wait. This is the only time of year when I let myself splurge on all the chocolate. Gotta Love it!

Mid Smile!

Oregon Trip

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to go back to Gresham for a family/friend wedding. We debated driving the long drive but in the end decided to fly with tickets cheap and not having to deal with a potty trained 2 year old and a 8 week old little girl. We got there Sept 23rd and stayed a full week. Of course the first 3days were strictly wedding events and organizing but got to enjoy a little bit of family time with each of my parents. We stayed with my dad...which was so gratefully appreciated. It worked out so well with two kids. I bet they were screaming for joy when we finally left to get their peace and quiet back. We were lucky enough to be there for two great events. Our good friends Jay and Heather had their darling little boy Oscar on Friday and it was so much fun to see them with the new addition. Isaac got some good playtime with Gwen and Sawyer. He couldn't stop talking about Sawyer after we got home and playing mailman. The Sunday we were there was my dad's birthday so we celebrated with dinner and a movie. Thanks to Page and Wes being there for the wedding also, they tended the kids for us. It's been along time since we've seen a movie just the two of us. We also got to spend time with my dad and his fiance Susan..we are excited for her to be part of the family! We love visiting back home and seeing all the familiar faces, especially on Sundays when we get to go to church with my mom. It was a great trip and had a lot of fun with everyone!

Of course can't forget an update on Brooke. 11 weeks this week and she's my chunky little girly!
