Pioneer's Day and Amanda's Birthday

We love the state of Utah for the one Holiday no one else celebrates..Pioneer Day! It was a great day full of events. We woke up super early that morning to head up to the University for the Pioneer Day 10k that Erin and I ran. It started at 6am and went through out the city. It was a great accomplishment. I am ready for another one! Later that day we prepped for the family bbq at our house. We had the whole Radford family over and later Dave, Erin, Roy, Jay and Heather joined the fun. The food was good and the weather what hot. Later that night the Linthorsts, Rickers and our fam headed up to the top of Foothill and watched the Fireworks through out the valley. It was a beautiful night and just a little breezy.

Saturday was my 24Th birthday "on in July" (that's for you Dave). Earlier in the week we celebrated by going to the Colbie Caillat and John Mayer Concert. Isaac stayed the night with Grandma Page and did really well. It was awesome. I love watching John Mayer and he is so dang hilarious. I have seem his once before in Portland a few years ago but this concert was even better. Can't wait for him to visit again!
Saturday afternoon all the Linthorsts, Rickers, and Radfords came and joined us for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. It was great and thanks for all coming! Then we finished off the bday with a stop in at the Nordstrom Sale. I have to say this year was a little disappointing. We did find Isaac a pair of converse and I found a shirt and jeans. Thanks for all the birthday wishes and hope everyone has a great week.

Isaac thinks he is so big!

Ok this lady was crazy. She was in her late 30's and rocked out like it was the AC DC concert. I know the picture does not do justice. She kept grabbing her date and acting like she was spanking him and then would go back to rockin out. It was hilarious!

I thought this was a cool picture of Usana Ampitheater

Here is a clip for everyone to listen to.

Isaac was really into the lemons.

Just thought I would end with this..he loves his backyardigans!

Glad you had a great birthday! I can't believe how big Issac is getting...holy cow! He's turning into such a little boy now! Hopefully we'll get to see him sometime soon (and you guys too)! Take care.

Thanks for the invite to the birthday fun. Isaac eating that lemon is pretty funny... what a cutie! We'll have to plan another swimming day... our weekends are dwindling. See ya, Heather

Happy Birthday!!!
Lucy is in love with the Backyardigans too!!!! She watches the opening song and the first song they sing like it is the best thing since cold juice! After that she only sort of pays attention to it, but isn't it kind of good:) I think so considering all the way aweful kids programming there is out there. My favorite is Tyrone, but Tyler likes Pablo.
I I thought BP's sale was no good, I didn't get anything there. But TBD and Savvy were pretty good for business clothes and skirts. I got two way hot coats from you guessed it, the Coat section. I was in Portland so I enjoyed the no sales tax.
