Pioneer's Day and Amanda's Birthday

We love the state of Utah for the one Holiday no one else celebrates..Pioneer Day! It was a great day full of events. We woke up super early that morning to head up to the University for the Pioneer Day 10k that Erin and I ran. It started at 6am and went through out the city. It was a great accomplishment. I am ready for another one! Later that day we prepped for the family bbq at our house. We had the whole Radford family over and later Dave, Erin, Roy, Jay and Heather joined the fun. The food was good and the weather what hot. Later that night the Linthorsts, Rickers and our fam headed up to the top of Foothill and watched the Fireworks through out the valley. It was a beautiful night and just a little breezy.

Saturday was my 24Th birthday "on in July" (that's for you Dave). Earlier in the week we celebrated by going to the Colbie Caillat and John Mayer Concert. Isaac stayed the night with Grandma Page and did really well. It was awesome. I love watching John Mayer and he is so dang hilarious. I have seem his once before in Portland a few years ago but this concert was even better. Can't wait for him to visit again!
Saturday afternoon all the Linthorsts, Rickers, and Radfords came and joined us for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. It was great and thanks for all coming! Then we finished off the bday with a stop in at the Nordstrom Sale. I have to say this year was a little disappointing. We did find Isaac a pair of converse and I found a shirt and jeans. Thanks for all the birthday wishes and hope everyone has a great week.

Ok this lady was crazy. She was in her late 30's and rocked out like it was the AC DC concert. I know the picture does not do justice. She kept grabbing her date and acting like she was spanking him and then would go back to rockin out. It was hilarious!

I thought this was a cool picture of Usana Ampitheater

Here is a clip for everyone to listen to.

4th of July Weekend

We had such a great fourth of July. All the family was in town and even some old friends. We started off the week with the arrival of grandma Mary and Angelie. Ange came from Holland, engaged! She will be getting married next April here in Salt Lake. We are excited for the wedding to come. You will all have to ask how the engagement happened..quite the story! On Friday the 4Th we spent the morning and afternoon with the Linthorsts. We all went up to "This is the Place" Park. It was my first time going up and looking around. We had lunch and road the trains. Later we met up with the Radfords at Grandma Audrey's house for a BBQ and the Sandy City parade. The fireworks came later that night and were shot over City Hall. They were pretty good!

Saturday we met up with Coleman's old friend Guy who was in town from Houston, and Jay and Heather. We went out and played frolf, had some dinner, and they played ping pong till late into the night. Guy and Allison and their little boy Brayden stayed with us that night. Sunday morning we all headed over to the Radfords for Grandma Page's dang good Crepes. Overall it was a very fun weekend.

June

The summer has been busy with all the family and friends in town. It finally got hot and all we have been doing is playing in the sun. Isaac is getting into everything, trying to grab anything in reach of his fingers on every table, and loving all the cousin fun. We have gone to Cottonwood Heights pool a few times and then up to Park City for fathers day. It's been such a fun summer.

The Radfords were officially here as of the last week of June. We have loved having them so close. We got them all moved in and settled. Austin and Richard had their little baby boy Monday, June 23rd. They named him Ethan Richard. A very cute boy with a head full of hair. We are so excited for another Radford cousin. I will post the 4Th of July weekend photos next. Hope everyone is doing well. Have a great July!

Isaac zonked out at the pool...he can only handle so much fun!

Coleman's 25th birthday

May 29Th was Coleman's 25Th birthday. Wow already half way to fifty...lol. Well we had a good weekend. As most of you know the 29Th is also my brother Frank's birthday so the Linthorst family and our little family went to The Cheesecake Factory to celebrate. After dinner we went to Golf Galaxy where Coleman got to pick out a new wood for his golf set (Thanks to his family and grandma Mary). Friday we had a party for both Frank and Coleman at the Linthorsts. All were there for burgers and dessert. Then on Saturday was a party for Richard (Austin's hubby) and Coleman down in Provo. The whole Radford and Smead family got together for the event. I would say he was quite spoiled with the parties but he deserved it all. I'm grateful for all his hard work and love. We love our daddy!
Have a good week!

Weekend with the boys

We had a fun weekend a couple weeks ago with Frank and Care's boys Owen and Spencer... I mean Tank (that's what he would rather be called). It was fun to spend time with those boys and Isaac to have a couple brothers for a few days. Yes I have to admit I was exhausted by the end of each day and slept in memorial day after Frank and Care's return from Chicago. It's funny how after a weekend with three kids people say, "how many kids do you want now?" I still am saying three or four...they don't come all at once over night...well unless you know their are multiple ones. Anyways...they were a joy to have, especially for Isaac. He couldn't get enough of their attention. Here are a few pictures from our weekend with the boys.

Here are the boys at the dinosaur museum.

Trip to Portland

We have had a busy few weeks...went to Portland to help my mom clean out her basement, then to Care and Frank's to tend the boys while they went to Chicago to visit Uncle D, Erin, and Royal. I'm pretty tired but surprisingly still going strong. Isaac is having to readjust to his home all over again after sleeping in two different places. I feel for the kid! But I have to say he survived quite well. Oh and he is crawling all over the place. I don't know how much I like that though.
Well as most of you know Grandma Mary is moving to Utah as soon as her house sells, so while Coleman flew to LA for work I took advantage and went to Portland to visit and clean out the house. It was fun to see old faces and visit with family. Sorry to all those I didn't make it to. Thank you Oregon for the triple digit weather. I loved it! Anyways...I helped mom organize the house and start going through the basement. Coleman flew up to Portland and met me Saturday morning. We got to work and in no time we filled an entire dumpster. We now hope that all goes well and Grandma Mary's house sells.
Enough talk, here are some pictures from our trip. I will post pictures from us watching the boys next time.

Isaac's first time on the plane. He did so good and fell asleep at take-off.
